For the official answer, it’s not. All the forts along with Sinhagad fort, are closed due to lockdown restrictions in Maharashtra. Still, some people are going to Sinhagad fort through the trek route. There are police guards at the entrance of the motorable road. And sometimes they also patrol at the trek route. So if you get lucky then you can go on the fort without getting detected. Mostly they will not collect fine rather they will tell you to go back. And if your bad luck is in full bloom, then you will get fined around Rs. 2000/ per person.
It’s a tough call. I will recommend you wait a little more. You can explore other amazing treks such as Katraj to Sinhagad trail till the Waghjai Temple Hill Top.
On friendship day, I along with my few friends went there. There was a drizzle & the atmosphere was surreal. You should explore this place. From the top (viewpoint Pune city) you can see the Pune cityscape.
You can take your bikes to the Waghjai Temple Hilltop (mostly higher cc bikes). I hope you have got your answer. Have fun! Don’t forget to share your experience with us. 😉
