A typical trek to Lingana Fort starts early in the morning, around 4:30 AM, followed by breakfast before beginning the ascent. Trekkers usually reach the fort by around 9:00 AM to enjoy the views. The descent generally begins around 11:00 AM, with lunch served at the base village. Most groups wrap up the trek and start their return journey by 5:00 PM.
When I went for the Lingana trek last week, there were more than 5-6 groups came with their trekkers. The total headcount went up to 100+ that day. Although we reached at the Railing Pathar at 5 AM, my turn for the valley crossing came at around 12.30 PM. Even after the sunset, I was on the top of the Lingana peak. We reached back at base village around 12.30 AM. So be careful. You can read more about my Lingana fort trek deadly experience here: https://vinaykadam.com/lingana-fort-trek/
