You can also feel the winds from the Sahyadri Mountains.  There is a point on Sinhagad from where you can see the Khadakwasla water body. May be these are the reasons for the Sinhagad fort visits.

All the forts are closed for now. Sinhagad fort will be open after lockdown. But for now there is strict lockdown going on. Once the government allows the travel, all the forts will open and we can go for the trek.

I seriously doubt that. There is a strict lockdown going on in Maharashtra and all the treks and forts are closed now. You can visit the Sinhagad fort, once they open it again. You are not alone my friend, everyone wants to go in the Sahyadri again. Let’s hope the trekking starts soon. Till then, stRead more

Compared to nearby Torna fort and Rajgad, Sinhagad fort trek is easier. It’s also one of the most famous tourist destinations near Pune. During the Sinhagad fort trek, I have seen people of all ages such as kids, young trekkers, college friends, corporate people, families and senior citizens.

When I google about the toughest treks in Maharashtra. There are so many different opinions from everyone. Every individual has gonna answer this question differently. Most of the people consider Kalsubai Peak is the toughest treks in Maharashtra. Actually, Kalsubai peak is the highest peak in Maharashtra but not the toughest one.

For me, the toughest trek in Maharashtra would be Alang Madan Kulang forts, also known as AMK trek. Alang, Madan and Kulang are three different forts lie in the Kalsubai Range of Western ghats. AMK forts are located at Nashik district, Maharashtra, India. Many climbing and rappelling patches make AMK one of the most difficult treks in Maharashtra.
