Mangi Tungi is a pair of pinnacles joined by the plateau in between. Mangi is at the western side and the tallest pinnacle between the two. The height of Mangi pinnacle is 1324m and Tungi is at the height of 1331m.
Mani Tungi is famous for the Statue of Ahimsa. It is the tallest Jain statue in the whole world. The height of the statue from toe to head is 32.9m. There are many caves on the Mangi Tungi hills. You will find many Jain idols in these caves.
There are different forts near Mangi Tungi such as Salher fort, Mulher fort Salota, etc. Salher fort is the tallest fort and the second tallest place in Maharashtra after the Kalsubai peak.
