    There are 2 routes to go to the Mangi Tungi Jain Temple. One is by using the stairs. You have to walk roughly 1300 steps to reach the Temple.     There are 2 routes to go to the Mangi Tungi Jain Temple. One is by using the stairs. You have to walk roughly 1300 steps to reach the Temple. From there the Mangi pinnacle is around 1800 steps away.

    The second route is by road with private vehicle. It will take you to the Mangi Tungi Jain temple in mere 10-15 minutes. The roads are not that great but it does the work.

    You can see Khadakwasla Lake and Panshet Lake from Sinhagad fort. Khadakwasla Lake is clearly visible from Sinhagad Fort. Panshet Dam is at the west side of the fort. Also the panoramic view of the Sahyadri Mountain range from Sinhagad fort is just stunning.

    How can I go to Kalsubai from Mumbai?

    Kalsubai Peak is around 160km from Mumbai. You can take train from Mumbai to Kasara railway station or Igatpuri railway station. Kalsubai peak is around an hour long from both these places. The whole journey from Mumbai to Kalsubai peak will take you roughly around 4-5 hours.

    K2S is considered as a very challenging trek due to the 2 major things. You need to walk a lot. I repeat…a lot. And you have to walk whole night. Then why do people go on Katraj to Sinhagad night trek, you ask? Well it’s one of the most amazing treks near Pune. You will get an awesome views of the complete Pune city lights. It’s magical.

    I will recommend you to go with the groups. Going alone to the K2S night treks is not advisable. And its more fun if you have a company, right?
